Hello, and welcome. This is the first post on the Family Updates blog, so it seems right to start with why this exists.
Most families today are spread across cities, time zones and apps. The photos exist, the milestones happen, but they land in a dozen different chats or in feeds designed for strangers. The people who want the news most, often the grandparents, are the ones who see it least.
What Family Updates is
Family Updates is a private, direct-to-consumer app for keeping an extended family updated. You create a space, invite your relatives, and share photos, short notes and milestones. Every update connects to a living family tree, so the record grows as the family does.
It is private by design. There is no public feed, no advertising and no selling of data. Only the family you invite can see what you share.
